Meidoorn Productions manages trade fair participation and corporate events for companies without a dedicated events team, from the Netherlands and across Europe.
From the founder
Before founding Meidoorn Productions, I worked in B2B marketing. That work included organizing booths and partner events at international trade fairs, as well as corporate roadshows and retreats. It showed me how much preparation sits behind a few days on a show floor or on the road, and how much of a show's value depends on the follow-up afterward.
It also showed me who usually carries that preparation: a marketing manager, an office manager, an executive assistant, or a founder, fitting supplier calls and organizer deadlines around a full-time job. Meidoorn Productions gives those companies an experienced event manager who takes responsibility for the event, coordinates the suppliers, manages delivery, and makes sure the follow-up happens.
Selected experience
From previous in-house roles: international trade fairs, a European partner event, roadshows, and retreats.
I organized a company's booth at the show, along with a partner event held on board a vessel, with acrobats brought in from Mexico. Bringing it together took close coordination between many different companies.
A partner event we organized for our reseller network, held at Microsoft's Amsterdam office and bringing together 200 resellers from all over Europe.
We exhibited with two separate booths in one hall. During the show, almost everyone on the team fell ill. I adapted and kept the show on track.
Our first time exhibiting at Spoga+Gafa, with a booth of our own. That meant getting to grips with a new show's requirements, deadlines, and suppliers from the start.
